Hello! You are here because you've heard great things about my media server and want to join in on the action and save some money for yourself. This is a service that I offer friends and family for a small yearly donation to help offset the expenses ($30-40/ year)
What it is:
Plex is a Netflix/Hulu like interface that allows you to watch TV, movies, podcasts, listen to music and basically handle all your media needs.
You may use my Plex server as a replacement to your subscriptions or supplemental.
Just like all those other subscriptions, you get to stream anything from anywhere in the world direct to any device. Even includes awesome features such as "Skip intro" for TV series and keeps track of what you have watched and where you left off so you can hop right back in whatever it is you were watching.
How it differs:
The best perk is you don't need 5+ subscriptions to watch TV shows and movies that are only on different providers like HBO or Netflix. With my Plex server you get any TV show or movie.
On top of that, I have automated and streamlined my server like no other. It automatically tracks lists such as IMDB's top 250, IMDB's most popular and even Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and Amazon Prime originals and more.
If there is ever something that is not on the Plex, I have integrated an app that allows you to simply lookup and add the TV show or movie to a list and it loads right on the server, ready for you to watch in a few minutes.
TV shows are also automated so anytime a new episode is released, its just like Hulu only you usually only have to wait a few hours after it has aired to start watching.
As of right now there its over 500 TV shows with every episode, and ~2500 movies. There is also a dedicated anime collection for TV shows and about 35TB of data in total.

Once the upgrade to fiber is complete and we can purchase a plan with a higher upload rate, I will reach out to those on the list in order of who signed up first to get signed up.
