Madden 20 Waitlist

This league is not for the overly sim Madden types that just call plays hold the controller and pray the AI wins. Stick skills, strategy, and heart will be needed to be successful here. We do not limit usering of players, spins, jukes, etc. We are here to play a video game and to have a chess match with our opponents. With that being said our rules aren’t optional. If they are not followed you will be notified by one of the awesome staff members.

Punishments
If any of the rules below are broken you may face several consequences such as, FL, Suspension of players, forfeit of draft picks, Mandatory Punt, Suspension from chat and Removal from League.

Integrity of The League
This league is one of the best sim leagues out there, there are many different ways to make money so we ask that you are keeping the leagues value. This league has many opportunities for sponsorships so we ask this
NO TANKING, If we feel as if you are tanking you will be replaced! Would rather see 10-5
Competitiveness in all games is something we love to see, If we notice that you have been getting blown out every game for 2 seasons in a row you will be placed on probation,If the 3rd season sees no improvement you may be replaced
Keep the chat clean, if a rule has been broken please do the things listed below, DO NOT come in chat cussing, name calling and anything else
League Activity is important both games and in league page/chat make sure you are being active
3 FLs due to inactivity you WILL be replaced

Game Play
48 HR ADV POSTSEASON INCLUDED
24 HR deadline to post scheduled game time (3rd Bullet xxxx)
FLs will be given on few circumstances, Beginning with missed time (15 mins), Opponent is unavailable the majority of the time (Only 4 hours out of the 48), or Opponent fails to respond VIA TEXT MESSAGE AND/OR DM. After 4 Force Losses (Due to inactivity), you will be replaced. Inactivity and Elites do not go together, we strive to complete at the very least 90% games played a week
If 90% of the games for that week are completed, we will advance early. Be proactive, don't be the last game played or it may be simmed
Streaming is REQUIRED, NO IF’S, AND’S, OR BUT’s ALL STREAMS MUST BE SAVED
Quitting is an automatic FL for the game you quit AND THE NEXT ONE. Don't quit, take your whooping or give it but do not quit... If you quit more than once you may be removed from the league without warning. Only form of acceptable quitting is if you file the Request for Appeal (https://forms.gle/wLxXyraBfX7JxUoRA) If a major rule has been broken and you feel as if it has cost you the game, please quit it and fill this out! If you quit and DO NOT fill this out you/or there is no significant evidence, you will be subjected to a FL the game you quit and a FL the next week!
"Cheese Ball", we all know what cheese is and how it evolves. So this is the most up for interpretation rule we will have. Cheese is prohibited. Don't pretend you don't know what it is. Just play FAIR AND LEGIT ball. ***

Spamming, Defensively: Running Cover 1, 4 times out of 6 is spamming regardless if it's ran out of different formations. Schemes will now be seen as SPAM cover 3 cloud, sky, whatever is STILL cover 3.....Offensively: We all have our go to plays but switch it up. Many different formations should be used, there should be no games where there is only 2 different formations are ran. A stretch out I-form is the same as a stretch out of strong (Example) Out of 8 downs 5/6 Different Plays are required. ***
Play Calling between Passing and Running must be a percentage of at minimum 70% Passing and 30% running, or Vice Versa
Hovering, Playmaker, Auto Rolling and Manual Pre Snap motion are all banned

1st QTR: From your 35 to 49, INCHES ONLY, From the 50 and on 4th & 3
2nd QTR: from your 35 to 49, 4th & 1, From the 50 and on 4th& 4
3rd & 4th QTR: from your 35 to 49, 4th & 2, From 50 and on 4th & 5
Fake Punts/FG are allowed if it meets the above requirements
In OT ANYTHING GOES
IF you are UP/DOWN 17 ALL 4th down rules are VOIDED, meaning if your down, you CAN go for it. If you’re up, you PUNT
Chew clock should only be used with 3:00 remaining in the 4th QTR ONLY (To ensure you have read all the rules post a gif of food and tag a commissioner)
Running up the score, IS ALLOWED. Get your XP, Don't like it ? STOP IT
Transactions
Trades
2 Trades During the Season, and 1 During the Off Season
ALL trades must be approved by 3 commissioners, to get a trade approved you will need to post on the page as followed
Rams trading J. Goff 23 SS trait 3 years remaining on contract & a 3rd RD Pick (IF capable include pick #)
Eagles Trading C. Wentz, 23, S trait, 4 years remaining on contract, and a 5th RD pick
Position Changes
A player MUST stay in his position group such as a
CB can play FS or SS
DE can play DT or vice versa
If a player is an offensive or defensive lineman they can play any position on the line
RE or LE can play OLB
HB can play WR
TE can play FB
All position changes MUST be approved by 2 commissioners (Post on page for approval as shown below)

Off-Season
A schedule for offseason events will be posted on both the page and chat with 24 HR notice, failure to be active resulting in missing offseason activities is no ones fault but your own
During free agency there should be no overbidding keep all contracts within 20 points of other offers for example if Bears has a 20 point offer, Keep it at 40
$10 Fee to switch teams.

League Page & Chat
League chat should stay clean, Trash talk is encouraged but keep it about Madden. There should be no insults directed at anyone about anything besides madden
If you are currently in a game and an issue arises, DM a commissioner DO NOT blow it up in chat.
When playing we often encourage focusing on that game so we should not see you talking in chat, you may be removed until after your game if more focused on chat than the game
All scheduled games must be reported on the post labeled for that week: for example find the post “WEEK 1 GAMES” then comment Patriots and Bills scheduled for 6:30 EST, opponent should confirm… THIS IS MANDATORY
Weekly challenges and betting spreads will be posted in both league chat and on the page
Advertising other leagues in the group page or chat is strictly prohibited. If caught advertising another league in the chat you may be suspended from chat temporarily, if done more than once you may be permanently removed
You must complete 13 game recaps; a breif summary of your game (1-2 paragraphs) you will receive a STAR trait. We'd like to know the details of what happened in your game and also shine light on 3 key players that were key in your win or loss. If you complete all 16 recaps you will receive a SUPERSTAR trait.
Highlights
1 Highlight from every game is required to be posted under the correct post on the page, you can post a screen recorded clip, or post the stream link with the time of the highlight
Broadcasted Games
If your game has been chosen to be broadcasted, whether it’s selected as Game of The Week or a key game, the following steps need to be followed (IT IS MANDATORY TO ATTEMPT TO BE BROADCASTED)
Set up a time with your opponent and inform Andrew
Once the game has started turn In-Game commentary off
Remember this game will be on the Madden Elites Network so show what the league is about, if we find that this game violates what we stand for you may be punished
