A waiting list for our popular Nature Play and Forest School sessions for children aged 3+. Child-led interaction with nature, observing and engaging with the environment, sourcing and creating with found materials, discussing topical subjects and enjoying related stories within a beautiful wild setting while developing independence and cooperative skills, confidence, self esteem and resilience through engagement with other people and the natural world.
Saturdays 8.30am - 10.30am
Lead by Tia - qualified Forest School leader and experienced teacher, assisted by the amazing Sophia - teacher-extraordinaire, and supported at times by Vlad - our master-craftsman! All hold a current First Aid Certificate and a Clear Criminal Record Certificate.
We are passionate about the 'work of play' and love sharing this enthusiasm with the most expert players of all: children :-)
We value providing a quality experience. A significant factor in outdoor learning is safety, which is supported by low Child:Adult ratios. This keeps the group small, which unfortunately limits availability.
Currently we are only able to offer one session a weekend, and it is fully subscribed at present. Priority booking is offered to Children already attending to continue promoting the long term benefits of Nature Play and Forest School, and avoid disappointment on missing the much anticipated weekly adventures in 'The Forest'.
Priority booking will close on the Wednesday before the commencement of a new Term. Remaining spaces will be offered from our waiting list which you can join below.
